Security as a habit, not as an add-on
Each customer has their own separate data area. Passwords and access encrypted with modern standards. GDPR rights ready from day one. No shortcuts.
-
Your data lives in a reserved area
Skalenda hosts each customer in their own separate data area: no shared tables with others, no noisy neighbour. For enterprise customers who need it, we can go to a fully dedicated infrastructure, even on a European sovereign cloud.
-
GDPR rights ready from day one
Access, rectification and erasure of personal data are self-service from the profile. When an account is deleted, bookings, calendar access, waitlists and saved queries are also removed: no scattered residue.
-
Encrypted where it matters, always
Passwords are protected with modern algorithms, sessions only travel over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), access to external calendars is encrypted before it is saved. The one-time login code lasts a few minutes and suspicious accounts lock themselves out.
-
You decide how long to keep the data
For each type of data you can configure the duration: accounts, bookings, access logs, security logs, invitation links. Once the term expires, data is removed automatically — nothing "forgotten" in a database.
-
A legal basis for everything
For every piece of data we process, we declare why we process it, in line with the GDPR. Having this map ready shortens Skalenda's adoption by months in public bodies and companies with an internal DPO.
-
EU hosting, minimal transfers
Your data stays in the European Union. The few integrations with US services (external calendars and AI analytics) happen under the Data Privacy Framework and only receive aggregated data or the strictly necessary access credentials.
-
Defences against abuse and attacks
Repeated login attempts temporarily lock the account. We limit the frequency of login and one-time code requests. The admin always has an access history to consult.
