Privacy Policy
This policy describes how personal data collected through the website www.skalenda.me (the “Site”) is processed, under Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”).
The Site is a public showcase for the Skalenda product. It requires no sign-up and offers no user account: the only processing of personal data happens when you contact us through the form on the Contact page.

What data we collect
Data you provide through the contact form. When you fill in the form we collect: your name, email address, request type (demo, quote, support, other) and the content of your message. Optionally you may add your company and phone number. You provide this data voluntarily so that we can reply to you.
Technical data. To protect the form from automated submissions and abuse, your IP address is processed transiently (rate limiting). It is not retained for profiling purposes.
Cookies. The Site sets no profiling cookies and no analytics tools. For details see the Cookie Policy.
Why we process your data and on what legal basis
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Reply to your request and send you the confirmation email | Pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Art. 6.1.b GDPR) and/or legitimate interest in handling contact requests (Art. 6.1.f) |
| Protect the Site from automated submissions and abuse | Legitimate interest in the security of the service (Art. 6.1.f GDPR) |
We do not use your data for marketing without your separate, specific consent.
Booking a demo
If you book a product demo through the booking tool embedded on the Contact page, the data you enter — name, email address and the time slot you choose — is processed to arrange and manage the appointment. The tool is Kalendo, our own booking platform, part of the Kamzan ecosystem: it too is operated by Jinni S.r.l., which remains the sole data controller. The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Art. 6.1.b GDPR). For details on how Kalendo works, see the Kamzan Privacy Policy.
Who we share data with
Form data is never sold or transferred to third parties for commercial purposes. It is processed solely by the Jinni Srl team and by the technical providers needed to deliver the service, appointed as data processors where applicable:
- Email delivery: your message is forwarded by email through the transactional SMTP service Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, based in the European Union).
- Hosting: the Site and the form micro-service are hosted with Hetzner (Hetzner Online GmbH, Germany), on servers operating within the European Union, on behalf of Jinni S.r.l.
There is no Site database: requests are delivered by email and not stored in an application archive.
Transfers outside the European Economic Area
The providers listed operate within the European Union and we do not transfer personal data outside the European Economic Area. Should any future processing involve a transfer to a third country, it would only take place with adequate safeguards under Chapter V of the GDPR (e.g. standard contractual clauses).
How long we keep the data
We keep the content of contact requests for as long as needed to handle your request and to follow up on related communications, after which the data is deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
As a data subject you have the right, within the limits of Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR, to:
- access your personal data and obtain a copy;
- request its rectification or erasure;
- request restriction of processing;
- object to processing based on legitimate interest;
- receive the data in a structured format (portability), where applicable;
- withdraw any consent you have given at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.
To exercise these rights, write to privacy@jinni.srl, or contact the Data Protection Officer (DPO) at dpo@jinni.srl. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
Automated decision-making
We do not carry out processing based on automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects concerning you.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the Site or to legal obligations. The current version is always the one published on this page, with the last-updated date shown at the top.
