Skalenda is live: booking rooms isn’t enough, they need to be used

Quarterly booking-performance analytics on the Skalenda dashboard, presented in a meeting room

Today we’re launching Skalenda, the platform for booking meeting rooms and company resources that Jinni has been building for nearly two years.

We won’t bore you with a feature list. Three things matter to us — and they change how rooms get used every day.

1. Booked rooms should be used. For real.

The most common problem in companies that manage shared spaces isn’t a shortage of rooms: it’s ghost booking. Rooms booked “just in case”, meetings skipped without cancelling, slots locked that nobody uses.

Skalenda introduces a mandatory check-in: every booking requires confirmation — via direct link or by scanning a QR code in the room — within a timeout you decide. If nobody confirms, the slot is released automatically and whoever was in the queue gets an email to grab it. The result: no-show rates close to zero, rooms actually full.

2. Analytics shouldn’t be “yet another report to read”

Every self-respecting platform spits out dashboards today. The difference is in who can interpret them. Skalenda integrates the AI model you connect into the admin dashboard: ask in natural language “Which rooms are underused this month?” or “How many no-shows did we have on Fridays?” and get a reasoned answer with ready-made charts.

The AI model only receives aggregate data with no personal information. Queries are saved and shared between admins, so a “smart question” becomes team knowledge.

3. Compliance isn’t a disclaimer, it’s an architecture

Skalenda is isolated multi-tenant by design: each customer has a dedicated PostgreSQL database and a separate container. No data sharing at the application level. Calendar OAuth tokens encrypted with Fernet, bcrypt cost 12 passwords, JWT in httpOnly cookies. GDPR legal basis documented article by article. Configurable retention.

Yes, it’s all boring. But it’s exactly what an ISO audit or a public body will ask you — and we want you to be able to answer without patches.

How to try it

Skalenda is in its commercial launch phase. Personalised demos by appointment, 14-day free trials available on request. Prices are transparent, per room per month, starting at €49.

Write to us at hello@jinni.srl — tell us how your booking days actually look, and we’ll show you how Skalenda changes them.
